The hotel had a charming and traditional decor that reminded me of my younger days. The cozy lounge area and the large outside terrace were perfect for relaxation. As a senior, I appreciated the easy accessibility of the hotel, with no stairs to climb and comfortable seating areas throughout.
It would have been wonderful if the children working there had been more attentive to the needs of senior guests. It would have made the vacation even better if they had offered assistance with luggage or provided information on nearby attractions suitable for our age group.

Quirky hotel, beautiful location right at the bus line and pleasant staff. Location near to three restaurants, the Picos mountains, and the coast. Again, not far from Ferreria de Cades. Fashionable and attractive room with central heating and TV. Nice food and quiet atmosphere...

The room at Casona Del Nansa was super cozy and made me feel right at home. The TV was a great addition for lazy evenings, and the work desk provided the perfect spot for writing in my journal. The bathroom with bathrobe made me feel like a fancy guest!
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the bathrobe. But hey, to each their own, right?

The location of this charming boutique hotel in Herrerías is truly remarkable. Nestled in the middle of the mountains of Cantabria, it feels like a hidden oasis. The area surrounding the hotel offers breathtaking nature walks that are perfect for rejuvenating the soul. One day, as I ventured out on a walk, I stumbled upon a small waterfall tucked away in a picturesque corner of the valley. It was like discovering a hidden gem that only a lucky few would ever get to witness.
Roadworks near the hotel.

Great value for money, comfortable bed, and friendly staff. The hotel is clean, quiet, and in a nice location. The restaurant, when open, has delicious food and excellent service. Even though it was closed a couple of evenings, it gave us the chance to explore the local village bar which added to our experience.
Breakfast option could be improved with more variety for those who don't eat ham.

Stayed for business, and loved the peaceful atmosphere, welcoming staff, and comfortable rooms. Great location with beautiful scenery and easy access to nearby towns. The terrace was a perfect spot to relax after a long day, and the breakfast was delicious!
That it was a bit distant from other towns and facilities, making it challenging to find alternative dinner options. However, the onsite restaurant offered a variety of menu options at reasonable prices.

The hotel had a nice terrace and the breakfast was decent. It was also located in a beautiful area with plenty of nature to explore.
Our Christmas stay was not enjoyable. the room had no air conditioning, making it freezing in the winter.
